Feet to be proud of
Now the sun is finally shining it is time to get those toes out (pedicured please), and there’s no other choice but wedges. These pink and orange suede La Tuilerie wedges from my Mary & Clarks range are so comfy and look stunning with a dress or jeans - my go-to shoe for Summer 2013.

My guide to marketing
I get inundated by people asking me for my top tips on marketing, so I teamed up with Channel 4 to give you a quick run down as part of the Staples Surgery: My Guide to Marketing. While you are there, take my quiz to see if you have what it takes to become a Queen of the High Street…

Rose Pompadour
Lots of people were asking about my glasses from last Tuesday’s programme. They’re from Mui Mui, and I love the colour so much that I’ve managed to find the same shade to paint my front door. It's called Rose Pompadour.

Lipsmacking Liskeard
If you didn’t watch my programme on Liskeard, you’ve got until the 31st May to watch it on 4oD. Then you’ll know why Liskeard is lipsmacking, and why you should order your meat and two veg (and fish) from here.

Prisoners of War
The problem with box sets is that you’ve always got the next episode ready and waiting to be watched. This Israeli drama about two soldiers returning home after 17 years as PoWs in Lebanon inspired the US series Homeland, and has caused many a late night in my household. Totally gripping and addictive.

When God Was a Rabbit
I’m returning to this one again. I loved the book when I first read it and recently, on a trip back from one of my Portas Pilot towns, I bumped into the author Sarah Winman. Hearing how much of a fan I was she sent me a proof copy of the book, so I’m avidly reading it again.

Retrouvius
I’m moving house at the moment - there are boxes and chaos everywhere and I can’t seem to get the dust out of my lungs. Hideous! But I have enjoyed hunting for new (old) pieces to fill up my new home, and have an unhealthy obsession for everything at Retrouvius.

Watch Mary Queen of the High Street on 4oD
With over 100 shops closing a week, is it high noon for the high street? I think not - so I created the Portas Review, to help breathe new life into local communities.
