My book of the month
Ii dip into my old edition of The Making of the English Landscape by W. G. Hoskins at least once a year. If you like walking and love the countryside, you’ll find it helpful in identifying how our rural world has been shaped over thousands of years.

Enter the Grand Designs Awards

My green hero of the month
This month it's Hendzel + Hunt, a London-based furniture maker. Their stuff is beautifully made as opposed to hurriedly remade creating new identities for old pieces of timber like this Kirkwood chair.
